Maintenance of rigid lenses

Maintenance of soft lenses

Their maintenance is simple and requires little time, but this step should never be sloppy.

For traditional or frequent renewals (monthly or bi-monthly), cleansing and rinsing are essential for removing mucus, secretions and deposits that can accumulate during lens wear.

Cleaning, rinsing and decontamination can eliminate most germs and this can be done using a “multifunctional” product or an oxidizer.

The lens storage cases can be sources of bacteria, it is appropriate after use, empty them wash and let them air dry.

If you wear daily renewal lenses (disposable daily lenses), there is of course no maintenance, since you throw your lens every night.
